Effective Date: January 1, 2020

At Mini Dachshund Puppies for Adoption, we are committed to providing healthy, well-cared-for puppies and ensuring a safe and transparent adoption process. By reserving or purchasing a puppy from us, you agree to the following policies.

1. Health Guarantee

  • All puppies receive a full veterinary examination before adoption.

  • Puppies are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.

  • A written health guarantee will be provided at the time of adoption.

  • We do not guarantee against illnesses caused by neglect, injury, or improper care once the puppy leaves our care.

2. Adoption Process

  • Prospective families must complete an adoption application.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. This deposit goes toward the final adoption fee.

  • Puppies will not be released until they are at least 8 weeks of age and have passed a veterinary health check.

3. Payments & Fees

  • Final payment must be made in full before pickup or delivery.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal (family & friends), or other approved methods.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless we cannot provide the reserved puppy.

4. Pickup & Delivery

  • Families may pick up their puppy in person at our location.

  • Safe delivery options are available nationwide at the buyer’s expense.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by airlines, couriers, or unforeseen travel circumstances.

5. Return & Rehoming Policy

  • We do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, allergies, or landlord restrictions.

  • If a family cannot keep their puppy, we require that the puppy be returned to us for proper rehoming.

  • No refunds will be issued in such cases.

6. Breeding & Registration

  • Puppies sold as pets only must be spayed/neutered as outlined in the adoption agreement.

  • Some puppies may be eligible for AKC registration if agreed upon at the time of adoption.

7. Ongoing Support

  • We are available for lifetime support regarding care, training, and health questions.

  • Families who adopt from us become part of our extended Mini Dachshund family.
